Privacy policy
Short version: Ki Researcher is privacy-light by design. We don’t run analytics, we don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect your name or email. This policy describes what that means in practice.
Last updated: 2026-10-19
What we collect
Effectively no personal information. There are no sign-up forms, no accounts, no newsletter capture, and no advertising or analytics trackers on the site. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect it.
What your browser keeps
Two things are stored locally in your browser (in localStorage): your light or dark mode choice, and your progress in Calculator 101. Both stay on your device and are not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, and its domain name runs on Cloudflare's DNS. Like essentially every website host, Vercel automatically processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp) to serve, secure, and operate the site. We do not use that data to identify or profile you. Vercel's handling of it is governed by its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Ki Researcher sets no cookies. The only browser storage it uses is the localStorage described above.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Ki Researcher does not track visitors over time or across other sites, and it lets no third party do so. It treats every browser the same way, whether or not the browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
The site is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed to children.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not collect personal information, there is generally nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete on request. If you are in a region with data-protection rights (such as the EU/UK or California) and believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond. You can remove the only locally stored item, your theme preference, by clearing your browser data.
Changes
If we add features that change this (for example analytics, a newsletter, or the planned AI assistant), we will update this policy before or as those features launch, and revise the date below.
