From the dose to the draw.

  1. Your dose is peptide.

    A dose is a weight of peptide, in mcg or mg. This vial holds 5 mg of it as a dry powder.

    5 mg = 5,000 mcg

  2. Water moves the draw, never the dose.

    Add 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. More water spreads the same peptide over more units.

    2 mL = 200 units5,000 ÷ 200 = 25 mcg per unit

  3. 10units

    Your draw is liquid.

    A draw is a volume, read in units on a U-100 insulin syringe, where 100 units make 1 mL.

    250 mcg ÷ 25 mcg = 10 units

Copy the dose, never the draw.

The same 250 mcg takes 10 units from this 5 mg vial, but 5 units from a 10 mg vial with the same water.
