GLP3-RT — Weight Management (titration)

glp3-rt is a GLP-1/GIP/glucagon triple agonist (retatrutide-class) — a once-weekly protocol where the slow dose ladder, not a fixed cycle, IS the protocol.

Why this protocol

glp3-rt hits three incretin/metabolic receptors at once: glp-1 (curbs appetite, boosts insulin), gip, and glucagon (raises energy expenditure). In its Phase 2 obesity trial that combination produced large weight reductions — roughly −17% to −24% body weight at 48 weeks across the 4, 8, and 12 mg/week target doses.

The defining feature is the titration. You start very low and step up only as gastrointestinal tolerance allows — the dose ladder is the protocol. Going too fast is the main cause of nausea and dropout, so patience at each step matters more than reaching a target quickly.

Investigational compound — the doses are the Phase 2 trial ladder, and weight figures are trial findings, not a promise. Doses match the GLP3-RT page; titrate by GI tolerance. No therapeutic claims.

Cycle & schedule

  1. Titration (from 1 mg/week)

Begin at 1 mg once weekly — starting this low is non-negotiable. Hold each dose step until GI tolerance is established before moving up; starting escalation days with a light, low-fat meal helps.

  2. Target run (toward 48 weeks)

Escalate by tolerance toward a 4, 8, or 12 mg/week target (the Phase 2 doses; higher targets drove larger weight change). The trial effect builds over ~48 weeks at the target dose.
